NARFE March 2025

With Tax Day quickly approaching on April 15, consider this: While Alzheimer's caregivers likely pay for some care costs out of pocket, they may be eligible for tax credits and deductions. Since tax rules are complex and can change, it's important to connect with a financial advisor or accountant before filing tax returns. Contact your state's Department of Revenue and/or seek help from a tax professional for advice about your state and situation.

Thanks to the generosity of NARFE members, the Alzheimer's Association® can provide essential resources for caregivers and their loved ones who are living with Alzheimer's at alz.org/care and via our 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900). We are so grateful for your ongoing commitment and dedication to our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
